Mayborn Group is the UK baby-products company behind Tommee Tippee. It is headquartered in Cramlington in North East England, has offices in Boston, Hong Kong, Paris and Melbourne, and runs factories in England, Morocco and China. Private equity firm 3i owned it from 2006 until April 2016, when it sold the business to Shanghai Jahwa.
Mayborn Group has been wholly owned by the Shanghai Jahwa group since 2016. Shanghai Jahwa (Group) bought it from 3i in April 2016, and in 2017 its listed subsidiary, Shanghai Jahwa United, agreed to acquire 100% of Mayborn's holding company. Shanghai Jahwa (Group) is in turn owned by Ping An Insurance Group, a Chinese financial group listed in Hong Kong and Shanghai.
Mayborn Group, maker of Tommee Tippee, is wholly owned by China's Shanghai Jahwa group, which belongs to Ping An Insurance.
